"Wild Flowers" was painted in the studio using my color note(below) which was painted plein air, my photo and memory.

It seems that my focus for plein air has changed. I used to paint complete paintings, now the interest for me is to get the color notes. Of late it just seems so cumbersome to haul everything to a location, set up, paint.

It was so nice to walk into the wetlands with only a backpack that has my sketch book, markers, and  50 pastel sticks. The change has made plein air fun again.
